Timlo and Ping Log were Adirondack children’s camps owned and managed by Barr Morris and his wife Margy in the 1960s and 1970s. Barr’s father, William G Morris and his wife Dorothy, founded Timlo in 1935 on Trout Lake near Lake George, NY. The sister Camp Pine Log on Second Lake near Lake Luzerne village was founded in 1923 and purchased by the Morris family in 1960. Pine Log was moved to Trout Lake next to Camp Timlo in 1976. Both camps were closed mid-summer 1977. This website is dedicated to the Morris Family along with 1970s Head Counselor Dan Koenig. May this website provide a resource of lasting memories for those who experienced the rich and exciting environment these unique children’s camps provided. Designed to foster creativity, build self-confidence, and promote teamwork and leadership skills.
